Manchester is once again preparing itself for the K-Swiss City of Manchester 10K, which takes place on Sunday, July 3.
Runners from all over the region and beyond will be taking to the streets of Manchester to raise thousands of pounds for good causes.
This year runners will be helping to raise money for Cancer Research UK, The Lord Mayor of Manchester’s Charity Appeal Trust, Francis House Children’s Hospice, Cystic Fibrosis and Anthony Nolan, however runners are welcome to run in aid of any charity they choose.
Starting this year’s race is Olympic athlete and TV personality Iwan Thomas, who will also be taking part wearing the Number 1 bib.
The race starts and finishes at the Regional Athletics track at the City of Manchester Stadium and will take runners around the outside of the stadium, the home of Manchester City FC and the local area.
