HOLLYWOOD actress Chloe Sevigny is to star in Burnley-born writer Paul Abbott’s latest TV offering.
The actress, who shot to fame following her performance in the controversial Larry Clarke film Kids and earned an Oscar nomination for her role in Boys Don’t Cry, will star in Hit and Miss.
She will play Mia, a trans-gender contract killer in the provocative new drama for Sky Atlantic.
Abbott, who hails from the Healey Wood area of Burnley and created Shameless, is to be the executive producer of the new show with Nicola Shindler.
It is written by Sean Conway and will be directed by Hettie Macdoland.
Hit and Miss marks the first original series for Sky Atlantic, which launched on February 1.
