TALENTED youngsters from across the North West descended on Pendle for the borough’s answer to the X-Factor.
Budding performers including dancers, singers and actors went head-to-head against each other as part of this year’s Luther Greenwood Festival.
The competitions, held at Colne Muni over the weekend, showcased a variety of talent from children, aged four to 16, who performed dancing, including jazz, tap, ballet, and song-and-dance.
And the dance section attracted hundreds of entries from schools across the Lancashire and Yorkshire areas.
The annual event is named after Greenwood, the longest-serving conductor of the Colne Orpheus Glee Union Male Voice Choir.
He was also a talented violinist and composed a hymn for the visit of King George V to Colne in 1913.
