THE OWNER of a boarded-up house which is blighting a street in Colne is to be told to clean it up.
Concerns have been raised about the appearance of the property in Shed Street.
Alex Cameron, from Pendle Council, said: “The dwelling appears to be vacant. The ground and first floor windows and doors are boarded up and the small rear yard is filled with rubbish.”
The owners are now being identified and will be asked to clean up the rubbish and ensure the property is brought back to an acceptable condition.
