THE British Heart Foundation needs 50 ‘Heart Heroes’ in Lancashire to help raise funds to save lives in its 50th birthday year.
The charity’s Hand on Heart volunteer campaign runs throughout June.
Last year, volunteers helped raise more than £30million for its pioneering work.
Barbara Dunn, the charity’s fundraising volunteer manager in Lancashire, said: “There are so many ways you can support us, from helping with local fundraising to volunteering in a BHF shop.
"Or you could put on your own event to raise money.”
