A YOUNG woman had an amzing escape when her car overturned on the A56.
The 20-year-old driver suffered only minor cuts when her Ford Ka skidded across the northbound carriageway yesterday.
Police said it clipped the barrier at the Hapton junction, sending the vehicle into a spin before it landed on its roof.
The road was closed for nearly two hours.
The woman was taken to Burnley General Hospital.
