THE front a pub blasted as a 'blight on Barnoldswick' has been tidied up.
Councillors in the town hit out at the work done on The Barlick Hotel, in Church Street, after it was left with metal shutters on the front.
Coun Jenny Purcell reported the matter to Pendle Council’s enforcement team in a bid to get the brewery, Punch Taverns, to tidy it up.
Coun Purcell said: “We’ve got what we wanted so we are very happy.
"It looks a lot better already and I am glad action has been taken.”
