GREAT Harwood Show organisers are preparing for another record busting event on Monday, May 30.

The event’s third year at Great Harwood Showground is said to be bigger than ever with new attractions, following record visitors last year.

This year the event has again been extended with new attractions including stunt riders display act ‘Blazing Saddles’, birds of prey exhibitions and arabian dancers to entertain the bank holiday crowds.

Organisers are hoping their 145th show will repeat last year’s success when in excess of 10,000 shared in the event.

Show chairman Geoff Hanson said: “It’s been a fantastic few years and we are getting bigger and better all the time. strength to strength.”

* The Great Harwood Show is at the Harwood Lane showground on Monday, May 30 from 9a, to 5pm. Entry is £5 or £3 for concessions or children with free showground parking.
