A WOMAN who popped out to get some cash drove into the back of a parked Mercedes, a court heard.
Blackburn magistrates heard Clare Perkins, 47, was found to be more than three times the legal drink drive limit after the collision of Shear Brow.
Perkins, of Columbia Way, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol.
She was made subject to community supervision for 12 months, ordered to do 100 hours unpaid work and banned from driving for 36 months.
The court heard the Mercedes was shunted into another car by the force of the collision.
Jonathan Taylor, defending, said Perkins had popped out to get some money for her son to go to college the following day.
