ONE lane of the M61 in Lancashire has been closed after a car hit the central reservation.
Police said there is queuing traffic southbound from the M6 J30 to J9 M65 (Clayton Brook).
Lane two (of two) is closed just after the slip road from the M6, because a car has hit the central reservation.
The road was closed completely for around 20 minutes.
Traffic is queueing back onto the M6 southbound.
