AN educational game in memory of murdered Haslingden student Sophie Lancaster is aiming to teach young people to be more tolerant.
The Sophie Game, which has been designed for Year 8 students, consists of 30 cards which represent different sub-cultures, ethnic, religious and social groups.
The pack also includes a copy of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation’s multi award-winning short film, Dark Angel.
A series of training courses are set to be launched for teachers, youth workers, and other professionals, which will licence them to deliver the game.
The first course will be held in Bacup on June 17.
