GEARING UP FOR ANOTHER GREAT RALLY!
Woodvale International Rally celebrates its 40th anniversary this year on Saturday and Sunday, August 6th and 7th and will see even more attractions to ensure the event is once again a thrilling, fun-packed weekend for all the family. We have teamed up with the organisers of the rally to promote their competition to give five lucky readers the chance to win a family pass to the event.
New this year is the world-famous Vander Brothers ‘Wheels of Death’ who will be returning from South Africa to attend the rally. Also returning by popular demand is the original ‘Wall of Death’ Ken Fox Troupe World Tour and the West Lancashire Dog Display Team.
Other events and activities include the Model Aero Show and Vintage and Classic Car Rally, kite festival, Morris dancing, country market, auto jumble and craft fair. There will also be live music.
Other highlights include stunt motorcycles, military and model aircraft displays; the Air Ambulance; Rolls Royce, Merlin and Griffin Aero Engine displays; model car racing; model boats and railways; stationary engines and a car restoration workshop.
Again free entertainment has been arranged to ensure visitors have an enjoyable and affordable weekend. These include the Crazy Bears, free land trains and Tinderbox Crafts.
