A TALENTED 15-year-old singer is preparing to take to the stage twice this month.
Miranda Myles, a year 10 student at St Bede’s Sports College, will perform pop songs at the Thwaites Theatre Rotary Variety Performance on May 26, and to thousands attending Darwen Live on May 29.
Mum Kathryn, from Pleasington, said: “She is happiest on a stage, even as a little girl was always pretending to be Kylie Minogue or Madonna.
"At 11, she won a singing competition at The Mall in Blackburn, and realised that she does have a good voice.
“Now she wants to pursue a career in performing and this is great experience for her.”
She has also won talent contests in Bury, Blackpool and scooped a Liverpool Performing Arts award.
She will be supported at both upcoming events by family and friends.
