MOVE over Jimmy Choo! A Rossendale footwear firm has come up with the perfect solution to killer heels.

Bacup Shoe is aiming its new range of fold-up pumps at party-goers who want to kick off their high heels after a night out and walk home in comfort.

The company said the white satin pumps are available in a range of sizes, and use the new luxury comfort technology onAir – a tiny concealed wedge of foam – to create extra cushioning on the heel.

The Stacksteads firm, which owns the fashion brand Redfoot, launched its new range, including a royal wedding-inspired Princess shoe, at the University of Lancashire’s student union The Atrium.

Amy Pomeroy, marketing co-ordinator at Redfoot, said: “The launch of the new range went really well.

“The Princess shoe, inspired by the royal wedding, proved a big hit and will make any girl feel like a princess when wearing it.”

The Redfoot range has a split sole which allows them to be folded away and stored in a small bag, so women can use them as required, such as when sore feet become too much.

In the past, soap stars Suzanne Shaw, from Emmerdale, and Corrie’s Kym Ryder have proved the shoes are a big hit after being snapped wearing them.
