CHILDREN at a Blackburn primary school know exactly what to expect when Prince William and Kate Middleton visit the borough on April 11.
The heir to the throne visited St Aidan’s Primary School, Mill Hill, in May 2008 in his capacity of president of the Football Association, to see pupils involved in the FA’s Skills Programme.
School administrator Karen Probert said: “It was fantastic for the school and a great boost for children, parents and the staff.
“Everybody was so excited the school was chosen.
“Prince William played with the football team and stuck around for over two hours.
"He made time for everyone and took all the questions the children had.”
Although the school will be closed for Easter, Karen is sure many of the children will want to catch a glimpse of the soon-to-be-weds.
The visit will be the last official engagement the couple will carry out before the wedding on Friday, April 29.
