Paolo Nutini is playing a special warm-up gig in Blackburn on June 2.
The million-selling artist will play King George's Hall. as just one of three warm-up appearances in the UK ahead of the main summer music festival season, which will see the Scottish performer healdine both the Rockness and Latitude events.
Last year, the Scottish soul singer won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Album for his 2009 release, Sunny Side Up, and the Best Male accolade in the Q Music Awards.
He promises not only songs from his 2006 debut album, These Streets, and Sunny Side Up but also “a few very special surprises too”.
Both albums have sold five million copies worldwide, and indeed he was the biggest-selling British male artist of 2009 and 2010.
