THE wife of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown visited Hoghton Tower yesterday to discuss her book, Behind the Black Door.
Sarah Brown’s memoirs of life at Number 10 were released earlier this month.
In the book she tells how she balanced work, charity campaigns and being themother of two small boys.
At Hoghton Tower, guests attended the Banqueting Hall and enjoyed afternoon tea, as well as getting a signed copy by Sarah Brown of the book.
