A CERAMICS firm has supplied sinks for an experimental eco house built by the The Prince’s Foundation.
Shaws of Darwen supplied their traditional handmade original and classic fireclay sinks to the house and apartments being built at the Building Research Establishment, in Watford, Hertfordshire.
The Natural House is a low-carbon home designed by The Prince’s Foundation using natural materials in a traditional design that reflects the character of its area.
David Dare, chief executive of Shaws, said: “There are no short-cuts in our manufacturing process.
It takes time to make something so indiv-idual and distinctive that meets today’s quality expectations.
We have set ourselves apart by offering unique products to the marketplace.”
The Prince’s Foundation is an architecture school and trust founded by the Prince of Wales.
