CCTV images have been released of a woman police want to speak to after a supermarket worker was racially abused in Rawtenstall.
The incident happened at Tesco in Bury Road on Saturday, November 6, but police have only just released the details.
At around 3.25am a group of young people entered the shop and tried to buy alcohol.
They were refused service due to their rowdy behaviour.
A short while after, a woman from the group came back to the store and again tried to purchase six bottles of cider.
She was refused again and then racially abused a male security guard.
She is described as white with a slim build and around 5'6" tall and is thought to be in her 20s.
She has a tanned complexion and dyed red hair. At the time she was wearing a white dress.
Detective Sergeant Neil Marr from Burnley CID said, "I would appeal to the public to have a look at this picture and if they recognise the woman then to get in touch."
Anyone with information is asked to call Burnley police 01282 425001 or call Crimstoppers on 0800 555 111.
