A YOUNG woman was talked down from a motorway bridge by police officers yesterday after threatening to jump.
The woman, aged in her early 20s, was standing on the wrong side of the M66 bridge at Peel Brow in Ramsbottom.
Specially-trained officers talked her down and led her to safety at around 7am.
She was later sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
