A MOTORIST was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after a two-car collision on a notorious bend in Rishton.
The smash, close to the Shepherd’s Rest pub and The Spice Lounge Indian restaurant, in Wilpshire Road, between Rishton and Great Harwood, happened at 6.15pm on Tuesday.
Police said both drivers were men.
They were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
One of the men was suffering from whiplash injuries.
The other had leg injuries.
The cars, a grey Audi A4 and a blue Peugeot 106, were removed.
The road re-opened at 9pm.
