A MAN who joined in an attack in a Darwen pub and was said to have kicked the victim repeatedly has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Peter Hung, 29, told police he had had too much to drink, his friend hit somebody and all he could remember after that was being put in the back of the police van.
Hung, of Maria Street, Darwen, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm, on December 22.
He was given 26 weeks in custody, suspended for 18 months, with supervision and a 12-week curfew between 10pm and 6am.
He must also pay £100 compensation.
