A CHILD sex attacker banned from owning a mobile telephone had one and was accessing websites, a court heard.
Frederick Cowell, 39, was not allowed to go on the net because of concerns over what he might look at.
He had been given an indefinite sex offences prevention order in August 2006 after being convicted of indecent assaults and serving 45 months in jail.
He denied viewing any indecent images of children and the prosecution didn't say he had, Burnley Crown Court was told The defendant, of Bolton Road, Blackburn, admitted breaching a sex offences prevention order, between March 23 and June 19, last year.
He was given three months in prison, suspended for two years, with six months supervision.
