PUPILS at Marsden Heights Community College in Nelson were honoured at an awards evening.
Mike Tull, headteacher at the Edge End Lane school, said: “I am immensely proud of all that we have achieved since coming together as a Learning Community in 2006 but I am most proud of the achievement of the young people whose success we are here to celebrate.
“The Building Schools for the Future programme resulting in this fantastic new building has been taken at its word and we have built and will continue to build our school for the future.”
