COUNCILLORS have voted to continue funding PCSOs across Burnley to the tune of £87,200 for the next two years.
The future of Community Support Officers had been in doubt because of funding concerns.
The council will spend £87,200 on continuing to fund PCSOs, with Lancashire Police funding the rest.
Burnley Council leader Charlie Briggs said: “PCSOs are a particularly important, valuable service.”
