A MAN had to be rescued from the roof his house after injuring his knee while carrying out repair work.
The 64-year-old suffered the injury while on the roof of his house in Derby Street, Nelson, at around 12.30pm on Saturday.
He had be rescued from the roof by firefighters and he was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment on his injured knee.
