TWO motorists sustained minor injuries following a smash during rush-hour this morning near BAE Samlesbury.

The A59 was blocked near to Myerscough Smithy Road from 7.20am when a black Honda CRV and a silver Vauxhall Vectra were involved a crash.

Police said one car was left on the road and the other went through a fence.

Both drivers were described as ‘walking wounded’ by police and were taken to Royal Preston Hospital in the same ambulance.
