A WOMAN stood outside a pub in Accrington had her handbag snatched.
The 44-year-old was in front of the Spread Eagle pub on Blackburn Road around 6.40pm when a man grabbed her handbag and ran off down a back alley towards the Margram roundabout.
The dark brown leather bag with a shoulder strap and small red and silver ladybird motif contained a purse, makeup and pink Samsung touchscreen mobile phone.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft, which happened on Friday, January 28.
The offender is described as an Asian man, slim build, early 20s, clean shaven wearing a black hooded top, light blue jeans and white trainers.
