A PHONE mast could be built at Darwen Cricket Club’s ground, if plans are approved.
The club made an application for a 15-metre-high mast in August last year but it was rejected after residents in the Birch Hall area raised fears over its height and health concerns.
The new application is for a 12.5 metre-high Vodaphone mast with a replica telegraph pole design and two equipment cabinets.
A decision will be made by Blackburn with Darwen Council.
