A THIEF who targeted Pendle Community Hospital was seen carrying a chisel by a passer-by who called police.
Paul Bradshaw, 32, claimed he targeted the hospital as he had been banned from town centre shops.
The defendant, of Barkerhouse Road, Nelson, admitted burglary with intent to steal and going equipped for burglary, last June.
He received 36 weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months, with 12 months supervision, 250 hours’ unpaid work, a two-month 7pm to 7am curfew and attendance on the Thinking Skills programme.
