Newsquest Northwest has joined forces with British Cycling to promote their competition. Our lucky readers have the chance to win one of four pairs of tickets to the sold-out 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Cup event in Manchester for Saturday, February 19 in this easy to enter giveaway.

Taking place at the National Cycling Centre from February 18 to 20, the event will give fans a three day feast of thrilling cycling from some of the world’s biggest track cycling stars.

Great Britain is bringing its strongest ever British track squad to the event, made up of eight Olympic champions including Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Bradley Wiggins, Jason Queally and Rebecca Romero, as well as Geraint Thomas, Ed Clancy, and Bolton-born Jason Kenny. In all, more than 400 riders from around 50 nations will be competing.

Tickets to the eagerly-anticipated event have already sold out, but British Cycling have a pair of tickets to give away to four lucky readers.

Those not lucky enough to win our competition can catch the Team Sprint and highly anticipated Team Pursuit finals live on BBC2 from 1.30pm on Sunday, February 20. Coverage of all the action will be available over the course of the weekend via the red button and the BBC website.
