TWO men have been arrested following an armed robbery at an off-licence.
The raid at Bargain Booze, in Whalley Road, Accrington, took place at around 5.25pm on Saturday, when two men entered the shop brandishing a knife, demanding that the shop assistant open the till.
They left the store having stolen an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the shop assistant was left “extremely shaken, but uninjured”.
Police arrested two men, both aged 26, late on Sunday afternoon.
One is from the Accrington area, and the other has no fixed address.
