An East Lancs pilot has become only the third Briton to fly the world’s most expensive fighter jet.
BAE Systems pilot Peter Wilson, from Whalley, took the controls of the multi-billion-dollar F-35 Joint Strike Fighter jet, in Maryland.
Mr Wilson was based at BAE’s Warton centre.
