THE case against a man accused of assaulting a man outside an Accrington drop-in centre has been dropped.
Andrew Hill, 32, of Whalley Road, Accrington, had been charged with wounding or causing grievous bodily harm without intent after a 62-year-old man was injured near the Maundy Grange in Abbey Street, last September 21.
The victim was left in a critical condition.
The police and Crime Prosecution Service confirmed the case had been discontinued at Hyndburn Magistrates Court.
