Rossendale Choirs and the Second Rossendale Scout Band received a standing ovation at a concert organised by BBC Radio Lancashire last night.
Rossendale Male and Female Voice Choirs were on the same bill as the Second Rossendale Scout Band and all were given rapturous applause by the audience.
All three acts individually performed a variety of items with a Christmas theme and then came together for a finale that had the audience on their feet calling for more.
The Scout Band led by Graham Helm was the highlight of the evening featuring ensemble and solo performances.
Other acts on the bill were the Radio Lancashire rock group “Freqency” and presenter John Christos.
John Gillmore was the evening’s compere.
