A GANG of armed robbers face jail after two men were today found guilty of a £250,000 jewellery raid at a Blackburn shop.
At Preston Crown Court on Thursday, two men were convicted of robbery and conspiring to commit robbery at Ancient and Modern Jewellers, New Market Street on July 8, 2009.
They are Wayne Williams, 36, of Fairlawn Park, South London and Tarique Jules, 31, from Blackwater Street, Southwark.
Cleon Perry, 33, of Tulse Hill, South London; Shaun Springer, 30, from Croydon; and Scott Raphael, 24, of Southwark, had already pleaded guilty.
The gang threatened staff with a hammer and crowbar and ran off with watches and jewellery.
Detective Inspector Neil Ashton said ‘vital information’ from the public was ‘crucial in securing convictions’.
They will all be sentenced on November 5.
