A DARWEN woman jumped 14,000 feet from an aeroplane to raise money for six-year-old cancer sufferer Madison Allan.
Vicky Crompton, 25, joined four other people in a charity skydive to raise cash for the Lower Darwen girl’s continuing treatment in Germany.
The former nursery nurse, who used to be Madison’s key-worker at Marshmallows Day Nursery, said it was a moment she will never forget.
She said: “It was an amazing experience and I was petrified. But thinking of Maddi kept me going.”
The mother-of-two has raised £500 so far, and said cash is still coming in.
Madison, who is currently in Germany receiving, treatment which is not available in the UK, has so far cost £50,000.
It has been paid for by donations to The Madison Allan Appeal, but another £200,000 is needed to continue the treatment over 18 months.
Vicky added: "I am really proud of her, she is a little fighter and I just hope that the money keeps on coming in."
