CORONATION Street star Shobna Gulati is to hold a one-off designer clothing sale at Darwen Market today in aid of Madison Allan.
Fellow Corrie stars have also donated their dresses, tops and accessories for the event, which aims to raise thousands of pounds for The Madison Allan Appeal.
Shobna, who plays Sunita Alahan in the soap, has been a friend of six-year-old Madison, of Lord’s Crescent, Lower Darwen, since she was first diagnosed with stomach cancer aged 10-months.
An appeal to pay for last-chance treatment not available in the UK has so far raised £62,000, but more is needed.
Shobna said: "Maddi needs these vital funds to continue her life saving treatment.
"She is a very brave girl who deserves a chance at life back home with her family in Darwen."
Shobna managed to get the stall through her close friend Jill Kirkham, who runs a card stall in Darwen Market Hall.
There will also be an exclusive raffle of Coronation Street 50th anniversary memorabillia on the day, and for one lucky winner, a one-on-one celebrity style session with glamour guru Armond Beasley who has worked on Gok Wan’s How To Look Good Naked.
Items range from 50p to exclusive designer gowns for £90.
The stall opens at 9am and closes at 4pm.
