A VAN dealership owner has defied business gloom by placing a bumper £6million order.
David Fishwick, who runs a business in Byron Road, Colne, is buying 220 new vehicles.
He will take delivery of 100 Mercedes vans, 70 Iveco ones and 50 Volkswagens.
They will be sold in East Lancashire but assembled at Mr Fishwick’s plant in Swansea.
Mr Fishwick said: “This sends out a very clear message that I have confidence in the market.”
