PLANS to convert a former working men’s club into a karaoke restaurant have been amended.
Balihar Singh and Lakhbir Randhawa wanted to turn the Barnoldswick Union WMC in The Butts, into an entertainment venue with a restaurant and games room.
They also wanted to host karaoke and disco nights until 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
But they withdrew the karaoke part of the application before it was put before Pendle Council’s licensing committee on Friday September 10.
Once opened the venue will be able to open from 11am to midnight Sunday to Thursday and until 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Residents had opposed the original application, but were happier with the amended version.
