POLICE investigating a brutal gang attack on a teenager in Blackburn have made three further arrests.
Three men, aged 25, 29 and 31, all from Blackburn, were last night being questioned over the attack in Logwood Street, Bastwell.
A 19-year-old man was found injured in the street after being assaulted by a gang of 20 wielding baseball bats and wearing balaclavas at 11.30pm on Sunday, police said.
He was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital suffering from a fractured skull and broken jaw.
Yesterday, police said he had regained consciousness following surgery and was showing signs of recovery.
Meanwhile, seven other people are ‘assisting police with their enquiries’ into the incident.
Detectives have so far raided 16 homes as part of their investigation.
