A 14-year-old Blackburn boy has this morning been arrested on suspicion of escaping from a secure unit.
Police said two boys absconded from Barton Moss Secure Unit in Salford while taking their cycling proficiency test.
They went missing yesterday after cycling away from supervisors, according to Greater Manchester Police.
One of the boys was serving a sentence for assaulting a police officer and the other was detained for robbery.
This morning a 14-year-old boy from Blackburn was arrested in the town on suspicion of escaping from lawful custody.
No further arrests have been made.
