A TEAM of ten workers from a Blackburn firm, including the chief executive, are to take part in a gruelling triathlon this weekend.
Andrew Graham, boss of wallpaper giants Graham and Brown, is to complete the challenge with his colleagues to raise cash for the upcoming Blackburn Youth Zone project.
He said that after turning 40 earlier this year he was keen to test himself.
The Tatton Park triathlon, in Cheshire, will see Mr Graham and three colleagues, business manager Darren Nicholson, 39, and factory workers Andy Smith and Tony Warburton, complete a 1,500-metre swim in open water, followed by a 40km cycle ride, and a 10km run.
Six other staff will complete ‘sprint’ versions of the distances.
They include Jason McIlvenny, Paulo Vasconcelos de Almeida, Mark Leach, Sarah Hayhurst, Steve Buckley and Victoria Davison.
