WORK is beginning on a major facelifting project for a number of older terraced streets in the heart of Todmorden.
Homes in Der Street are the latest to benefit from stone cleaning and repointing in the Calder Valley town.
Communal courts and pipework around the area will also be installed as part of the Calderdale council project.
Similar investment has already been made in Harley Bank and the old police flats in Burnley Road, and funding was also recently secured for affordable homes in Railway Street.
Contractors Termrim Construction will undertake the Der Street work over the next five months.
