A HYNDBURN company has created six new jobs after receiving a financial boost.
SJA Film Technologies Ltd, of Altham, received a grant from Hyndburn Council’s No Limits programme for £23,000 to help it expand and subsequently move into larger premises.
The company was established in June 2003 by directors, Alan Cox, Dave Hoy, Tim Poskitt and Johnathan Harvey, as a film-slitting and rewinding company.
Originally occupying 10,000 sq ft, the company has steadily expanded and in 2005 occupied an additional 5,000 sq ft.
It then wanted to develop a new coating facility and expand into adjacent premises, occupying another 10,000 sq ft and so contacted the No Limits team for help.
A grant of £23,000 was approved to help the company’s growth plans.
