A TASTE of the 17th Century came to Barnoldswick at the weekend.
Victory Park saw the Sealed Knot Society staging two re-enactments.
The event gave visitors a peak into 17th Century life with a soldiers’ encampment with gunpowder making, authentic cooking fires, armourers and an army accountant.
Participants fought two pitched battles as part of the town’s gala weekend.
There was also a tug-of-war contest, live music, and a funfair.
