A GROUP of nine-year-olds rolled out the red carpet for a glitzy Hollywood style film premiere.
After a six-week wildlife project which culminated in a hour- long film the class of year four students decided to send handwritten letters to 120 guests from supermarkets to provide refreshments for the events and to parents to invite them to their premier.
Dressed to the nines with floor length gowns for the girls and suits for the boys they walked up the red carpet at Waddington and West Bradford CofE Primary School for the film festival.
More than 100 guest took their seats at the Funky Monkey Film Festival.
The children spent weeks organising the glamorous ceremony as class teachers Rachel Lopiccolo and Elaine Walsh took a step back.
Mrs Lopiccolo said: “The children wanted to hold a Hollywood style event for the film festival. They were really excited.”
