Blackburn remembers war dead at service
A SERVICE was held at Blackburn Cathedral yesterday marking the 94th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
The Band of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment attended the event which was dedicated to all soldiers from the East Lancashire Regiment who have died in active service.
