RESIDENTS living in a close-knit community are being told to look out for a white man with tribal tattoos.
Police believe the man may be responsible for at least two high value burglaries in the Pleasington area.
PC Gary Hennighan said there had been a rise in such incidents which have happened in the mid afternoon and early morning in the last four days.
Break-ins have occurred in Long Lane, Meins Road and Old Hall Lane.
On June 22, a set of Vauxhall Astra keys were stolen from a house during the day and the car was taken.
Earlier this month, three laptops and jewellery were stolen from a house in Pleasington Lane.
PC Hennighan said: “It is an appeal for any witnesses to report any strange activity or if people have seen any suspicious characters about.”
He said the man with tribal tattoos was a ‘suspect’ who had been seen in the area when recent incidents had taken place.
Contact police on 0845 1 253545.
