A MAN banned from every rooftop in Hyndburn has been charged with seven breaches of his ASBO.

Adam Corbett had been on the run from police after being involved in a 35-hour standoff two weeks ago.

However, the 22-year-old of Clayton Street, Great Harwood, has been charged with seven breaches of his ASBO, theft of a motor vehicle, attempt theft of a motor vehicle, four criminal damage offences, affray and assaulting a police officer.

His brother, Mark Corbett, 24, of Burton Street, Rishton and a 17-year-old boy of no fixed address were both charged with attempted theft of motor vehicle, affray and criminal damage.

All three men appeared before Blackburn magistrates on Thursday morning. Both Adam and Mark were remanded to appear before Blackburn magistrates on July 2.

The 17-year-old man was bailed to also appear before Blackburn magistrates on July 2.

Corbett was given the interim ASBO after repeatedly climbing on to the roof when police knocked on his door.
